Malaga

Malaga is the capital city of the Costa del Sol which is situated on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The city is a port in Andalucía, Southern Spain and it is known as being a major holiday resort. Just behind the harbour lies the inside of Malaga that surrounds the quarters of El Perchel, Lagunillas and La Trinidad.

The city is engulfed by the Mountains situated in the Southern base of the Axarquia hills and the two rivers, the Guadalhorce (on the right bank) and the Guadalmedina (on the left bank) flow near to Malaga

The population of the city has an average of 577,000 inhabitants (2007), and Malaga is the fifth largest province in Spain.

An estimated 6 million tourists flock each year to this wonderful sunny cosmopolitan city to explore the beautiful landscapes, remarkable architecture, great nightlife and fantastic seafood restaurants. Furthermore, Malaga houses most of the world-class golf courses which are scattered across the Costa del Sol or ‘Costa del Golf' as some may say.
